Firefox saved passwords

Da Rossa
Is it possible to save (import/export) the Firefox 1.5 saved passwords list?
This is the main point but, by the way,
what are all the saveable things in Firefox?
Profiles, bookmarks... please complete. Smile
Thanks u all! Cool

Make a copy of the file (using Windows as an example):

C:\Documents and Settings\your Windows username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\whatever\signons.txt

Of course, you have to be able to view "hidden" files to get there via Windows Explorer. Go to Tools->FolderOptions and set the option to show hidden files.

In the same directory, the file "prefs.js" contains most of your preferences.

In addition, the subdirectory "extensions" has your installed extensions, "gm_scripts" has your GreaseMonkey scripts (if you are using the GreaseMonkey extension), and "searchplugins" contains the information for the search engines used in the toolbar in the upper-right.

In fact, for "backup" purposes, it's probably a good idea to make a copy of the whole directory and its contents.
