Amateur photography

I am planning on creating a new site for amatur photographers that is much more than just a placeholder for images. It will contain tips and tricks, sections on a multitude of aspects of photography, including astrophotography, which is somthing I would like to get into myself. If anyone is interested in this idea can they let me know what they would like in terms of features on such a site. I want the site to be driven by its users after all.

-JPEG optimizing for your photographs so you can save space + bandwith
-and like 10+ other things
