How to make a site with LiveConnect like gmail ?

I'm already search many2x way to develop a site like gmail, which mean i can klik & check my email with out refresh my page.

I try on www.hotmail.com too also, it;s seem it was the same way, i already try to learn the source code, but i'm fail,

can some one here, that have a kind heart, would help with teach me some usefull programing to make a site with LiveConnect like gmail ?

I think your talking about AJAX? I don't know anything about it other than it is about using javascript to access server side stuff. Google it.

I dunno, but i though, it's seem google using some iframe ?
But there's no page refreshed.

Also on mail.yahoo.com, there is some + button, before the mail, where;s if we click the button the messages will show up in the same pages.

any one know about it ?
