Who do you think is going to win the F1 Grand Prix this year and please say why.
I think that Fernando Alonso is going to win because his car and team seem to be on the ball with few problems.
I also think that Jensen Button should have a win this year.

Renault is one the top now... But Ferrari is searching hard to find their "normal" peace so the final battle isn`t finished yet. I think that only MSC can beat Alonso this year. It`s very sad that raikkonen can`t fight, because his car is too slow... Kimi sholuld be a champion last year... Maybe in other team... (Ferrari

)I reckin schumacher is easily still a better driver, and i the ferrari regains form he'll easily take the championship. Or at least would hav if it weren't for the stupid points rules they have now. If shuey won 8 races with alonso 2nd, then, and only then, would shuey take the lead, whereas alonso will only have won 3 races, its not very fair, to be fair;)

Shuey is the better driver when Ferari get their finger out.
Also the points system is there to make it hard and to put the pressure on.

Me too, I think Shumi has had his day and should also call it a day too. Look at the Monaco GP. He is not only embarrasing himself, but also Ferrari. I think he will go after this season.

definatly.... although shumi is a great driver i think he should quit b4 he ends up like senna.

Man it's just so sad to see Michael suffer the way he did in the race before. It's real bad luck for the poor guy.
But one things for sure, I'll pay to see Kimi in Ferari next year. That bloke just needs a car that bloody works and finishes a race without an engine failure. He's too great a driver.
To make it even more spicier wouldn't it be awesome Michael to be his teamate next year? I mean imagine those two on the same piece of machinery and fight for the pole to each race and then for the title, wow thats gonna be awesome!

Yeah, you are right. (I think you meant Rossi, the current World champion of MotoGP). Can you imagine.. Rossi in that red Ferrari. Wow.. What a great prospect!! Hope to see this happens. Really hope so! I have spoken to lots of people, all have the same opinion as mine. Not to mention the Italians!! 
I think rossi has now decided he's not gonna race F1 next year, pity bout that, i'd have liked to have sen wat he could have done. Hmmm he's a bit behind in the old MotoGP this season too, but i have much faith that he'll win it come the end of the season, the man really is a legend, why he'd want to be the end of a leg i will never know
I have only just srarted watching the moto gp..... I dont know much about it at the moment but i am sure i will learn.

I KNOW Alonso will win this year's championship. MSC will come second and Kimi third. Renault have a really strong car and a driver who hardly makes any mistakes. The last mistake Alonso made was in Canada when he thought he would find out what would happen if his car hit the wall! Apart from that he has been great. The car is fast and reliable - two things you need to win races. Ferrari is faster this year, but not as fast as Renault. Schumacher is still good, but not good enough to beat alonso in a head to head. Plus he cheats when it suits him!
As for Kimi, Good luck at Renault next year!! This whole Ferrari business - I don't believe it especially if Schumi is staying. There is no way Kimster is going to be the Number two driver in a team!!
As for Rossi - I am glad that whole "maybe I'll go into F1" crap is out of his system. It would have been interesting to see, but I dont' think The Doctor would be able to operate as well in an F1 car. Ferrari was busy distracting him, that's why he's number 3 in the motogp championship. But he'll win this year's championship. (This last weekend's race was crazy - Poor Milandri!!!)

I agree with you, Garg. The races are not exciting last time.
. But this weekdn the US GP is always a nice race, except last year.
I think Alsono will win the championship this year. He has the best car and gap between him and Schumacher is 25 points. With 9 races to go, that is too big.

well, the races this year depend on the car pace subject to the track conditions. Given the way renault have been, especially in europe, i guess it wud take a miracle or serious technical malfunctioning spree to upset their apple cart.
btw, i'm a schumi fan and wud like to see him win.
as regards button, well honda have real probs. just heard abt them sacking their technical director and thats tells a lot of how things are in their pit garage.
This year, it looks like a two horse race all the way, atleast for the individual races although i must add, it isnt so in the drivers' and constructors'. renault r leading by a long way.
but i do hope ferrari prove me wrong.

Actually, its Mclaren that he is moving to. But at this point Mclaren and Williams are pretty much the same difference! I really hope he wins though, because few things would annoy me more than Schumi getting the WDC. After his display at Monaco I have lost all respect for him and I am conviced he, and not Luke, is Darth's evil son!! I have no regard for him. Kimi is my driver of choice but he's pretty much stuck where he is - So go Fernanado!!!!

GP Germany Schumacher have 11 pts to Alonso so any scenario is possible. I think Schumacher will win the 8th title in this year and retire.

Here is my prediction, since I am soooo good at those: Renault will improve this weekend, only sllightly though. Michael will still win, but Nando will come no better than 4th, meaning the championship is cut down to around 5 or even more points. The following race Nando will crack under the pressure and do something stupid and hand Schu the championship lead. I don't know what the feck will happen after that - can't see that far into the future! Regardless, it will come down to the wire and it will be a spectecular finish to a great career,
Why do you all reckon he's gonna retire, he hasnt said he's going to, not even hinted, from what he's been saying one would have to assume he's thoroughly enjoying this year and intends to race on. (Schumacher that is)

Michael Schumacher will win. He's the most winningest driver in F1 history. (So I'm told) 
Alonso will win, I know this because there is a formula to it. Look at the first three races of any new season, note down who is doing the best overall in placements, then take that drivers name down to the bookies and whack a grand on him to win the championship. Works every time F1 starts as it means to go on, no close finishes, just a clear leader every time. Dont get me wrong I like it, I goto Silverstone every year, just for the crack heh. But yea its not like anyone comes from second or third in the championship to win it, not when your halfay through the season anyway. And Alonso has a Potato head.

insane race! the way the michelins were handling in the starting stages of the race....unbelievable! and i thought bridgestones were traditionally better with intermediates/slicks!
im personally not an alonso or renault fan, but that was really impressive... i had all but given up hope on schumi and then the race suddenly started getting more interesting...
anyways, he did manage to get one point, so that still means everythings open for the championship...

I don`t think so... Renault actally have problems with peace, Ferrari is faster. McLaren found some speed, so Kimi was able to get P1 twice. So the title is still undetermined. I can`t wait for Turkey

As for the championship. i have no friggin idea! I want renault to win both of them. but ferrari is the evil empire after all so they won't go down without a fight. The next race is obviously very crucial. I wonder what stupidities schu will be up to this time around
