I might be somehow a 'eurolist' (and nationalist) when it comes to music, as I much prefer European music. Americans mostly make 'trash'; Bad "music" like 50 cent, the Game, Linkin Park, a number of punk bands which haven't developed or added anything new to the genre since Ramones keep hitting the airwaves. The American Uraban-music has truly polluted the radio, at least that is what I think. Of course a lot of American music is great too, but the current popular music surely isn't (again IMO).
I have quite a few favorite bands. Chances are, though, that you don't know them, since I prefer European music, as stated above.

My favorite artist at the moment has to be Robbie Williams because it is such an entertainer. For instance his latest "huge" concert Live At Knebworth was an amazing concert!
Words cannot even express how I feel when watching the Live at Knebworth Show. The fact that this man can make 175 thousand people bounce in unison to his music is astounding! I wish so much that I could have been there in person. It would have been the best time of my entire life! However, when I watch the DVD, it almost feels like I was there. Robbie is so captivating with his enthusiasm and animation. The band plays an amazing show with such precision and energy. This is by far one of the best shows in music history!!!

I must say.. The grand theft auto series has came a long way from the first one in '96 i think? where all u did was gun people down and get money for hitting cars.. the new things is basically be a ganster type person who has a problem, and it has to be solved with force. and as all the grand theft auto series have proven.. there is no talking involved.. its best to just.. Blow stuff up and Kill anyone who opposed you. and San andreas has almost perfected that sport, although a few times in the game i was oddly bored (My fault.. i was just driving around) the game play can be Straight up.. or u can always steer off and do something comepletly random.. the game is awesome..~
I must say.. The grand theft auto series has came a long way from the first one in '96 i think? where all u did was gun people down and get money for hitting cars.. the new things is basically be a ganster type person who has a problem, and it has to be solved with force. and as all the grand theft auto series have proven.. there is no talking involved.. its best to just.. Blow stuff up and Kill anyone who opposed you. and San andreas has almost perfected that sport, although a few times in the game i was oddly bored (My fault.. i was just driving around) the game play can be Straight up.. or u can always steer off and do something comepletly random.. the game is awesome..~

My favorite band is The Calling and Matchbox Twenty! These two bands have the same genre and blend of music which I like. I love Wherever You Will Go from the calling and If You're Gone by Matchbox Twenty. On solo performances, from Alex Band of the calling, I love the single Why Don't You and I. It is still okhmmm... probably I'd have to go with Alkaline Trio, but I also like Bowling for Soup, Sum 41, Green day is okay, Rise against, and some old 80's and 70's rock bands (too many to list)
Jim Morrison and The Doors are my FAVORITE band. The lyrics that Morrison comes up with are just insane. No one in there right mind would be able to think any of that up, but he was usually trippin or boozed up so he wasnt in a right frame of mind. Not only the lyrics, but the music they played was great. Ray Manzarek has to be the best keyboardist (not pianist) of all time. Robby Krieger could throw down some good jams, and John Densmore wasn't that bad of a drummer himself. Morrison always found a way to get the audience rilled up, either with his taunting or other ways (including the Miami incident). Its a shame he died (if he really did), but I suppose its whats best. Live fast and die young, the rockstars modo.

Sting can play bass very well... and sing at the same time. I am quite impress the first time i saw him play. He got a superb band to back him up too. His composing is very uncoventional but still nice to listen too. Very technical yet inviting. I can really say that he is a very good musician and singer.

No question. The Beatles made so many innovations, building on what came before. They changed music and how it fits into peoples' lives. They broke up 35 years ago but it's easy to find Beatles influences in countless groups since.
