XML with C++

sergi
I have recently became aware of XML format's advantages. Some of which are extensibility, user-friendliness and wide-support. I would like to use XML in C++. Could anyone tell me what XML parser library it is better to use? With PHP I used a built-in event-based XML parser...

Thanks

Sergei

Just one note - from my experience with parsing XML in C++: it's quite heavy and slow. I don't know what your purposes are, it might not bother you at all, just so you would know.

You could use the famous libxml.

There's a also a Xerces parser. It is an Apache subproject. Has many nice features.

libxml is pretty easy to use Very Happy coz i am familier with it. But its buggy .. It cant handle some special characters and all. I never use Xerces but i've heard that Expat is pretty good one. Good luck.
