American Sign Language, anyone?

CrookedBlaze
I was just wondering if anyone used it.

My dad's whole side of the family is deaf, including my half sister and brother.

Ehee, it comes in handy. SUrprizingly, a lot of people in Southern California are deaf, and whenever I'm in places these poor people are struggling to get their point across and the dumb idiots trying to take their order can't figure out that deaf people can write, and they don't hand them a pad and a peice of paper.

And you can make some okay money translating. I was surprized when I was at the Grand National Rodeo in San Francisco while visiting my sister and dad, they actually had a translator at the RODEO!

I know some, not much. But there's the problem with speech. I don't really get to use it much so it pretty much just sits in a corner of my brain rusting away.

I can't really read what other's are signing unless they do it real slow.
