I need to make a mall code for an event to happen every few secounds and i NEED it to be in Xml can some one explain how i cann make a timer or some way of getting the event to occur every few seconds?

Isn't XML a server side thing? I think you might need to use JavaScript.

at the moment im not entirely sure but i guess it would be PC it would be really nice if i could see it in both but im pretty sure its PC

so when someone opened your site something should happen every few seconds?

That would be Javascript. Are you familiar with javascript? You should search for setTimeOut() I believe.

i that all there is i mean there isn't a way to do it without the java script? i was hoping not to use it

If you want to simply redirect, or refresh to/a page, you can use a meta tag in your HTML, although not all browsers support that. Otherwise, JavaScript would be probably the best client-side scripting language. If you are referring to how people can disable JavaScript in their browsers, all widely accepted client-side things can be disabled by the user. It's either client-side scripting language that can be disabled, or obscure code that most browsers don't support anyways.
