javascript: needed script for displaying window

Hi,

Can anybody provide me code which creates a hovering in front of browser? I don't want any complex objects like flash. Just plain html and javascript.

No, not a pop up window. It is just a small window which floats within the browser area (something like menu windows which pop up but this is not positioned at some link). Check the epaperdaily.timesofindia.com for example. You need indiatimes id to login.
