Isn't this car beautiful?
Meh.
If Ford would stop allowing the Marketing and Legal Departments to run the Engineering Department, they'd make a helluva car. Unfortunately, they're not interested in reliability, quality engineering etc, they're only interested in what looks good and appeals to the (how shall we say...) not-so-informed.

Its great, too bad that mustang is not for sale in Europe...

Sure looks cool, I would definitely like one of those.
something is wrong with this car... it looks a bit, well, contorted :/
beautiful car thats all i can say...they brought back some of the styling of the older mustangs and added some new to it...i personally love it
I am a mustang fan so hell yea i like it.
It looks soo cool

You can easily import one if you are after a Mustang. Just call up a US importer and they will order one for you to your spec. There are a good few in the UK. Not too expensive by our standards either. Go for it!
ooooooo this is starnge
its like the old and the new merged together, there is still some resemblance to the old model isnt there ......

Beautiful car. @hrtorren Official they wont sell it in Europe but its still not a problem to get one in Europe.
Finding a good us car importer is not a problem. In Germany there are some good, too.
not a nice car. the mustang started off nice but now it's just gotten fatter, slower and uglier. the car looks like it's made out of plastic. ugly.

A lot of the newer cars are made of plastic (or firberglass or whatever clever name they made for it). That's why I stick to old ones.
yeh its a cool car
w00t. Yeah looks good but I wouldn't have one in yellow
mwoah.. I wouldn't buy this car for the looks
Eh, it ain't quite my chevy, but pretty decent.

I'm a mustang fan too. Don't have one of these, but I have a '65 coupe with a '90 5.0 motor built up a little
that is a beautiful car and they have several kits for it to resembel the gt500 in the Nicke Cage Gone in 60 seconds.
I have a 95 GT convertible with a Cervinis Stalker Kit on it.
I'm researching for my next car and the new GT is high up in my wants list.

well, im from scotland (uk), and we dont see many mustangs over here...
...but I think it looks great. I love cars though, and with it being American, I dont know if i'd have one (not as an every day car anyway)
Too heavy, and i'm guessing like alot of american cars, it doesnt have a differential (does it?). Big fan of big N/A engines aswell, but not enough bhp/tonne or bhp/litre on most big V's. It could be so much quicker, and powerful imo.
Nice car all the same

?
2006 Mustang GT Differential
I don't know what you mean by most American cars not having one... Mine has three.

4WD? I'd hope so...
Seriously, may just be a british misconception, but there certainly is a newer mustang that doesnt have a diff - I trust good old british top gear that much
Don't like builky cars.
This Mustang may look good on the exterior, but the interior needs massive improvements. I honestly do like the styling cues, I just wish the power would be there for it to keep up with the Vette, and creature comforts need to be there too, but then again, people buy it for cheap "muscle", which "muscle" isn't even very much.
Somewhere (under the pile of junk I call my bedroom floor) I have the 2005 American racing wheel cataloug.
Theres an '05 mustang GT in ther - Its an amazing looking car (I think it had a bodykit by 3D carbon) and probably the closest thing to a modern muscle car on the streets today.

Yes, how else would it have three?
(For those of you expecting two, there is the front and back differentials, and then I have one built into the transfer case, allowing me to use four-wheel drive on hard surfaces.)
i cant say i'm a fan... go german or go home haha... well, the new GT500 is ok.. but I cant say the same for any of the regular mustangs. ...Maybe the Bullit.
what about the new camaro??? now that is a bute and brute
It may look nice like the old ones but it isnt made the same, now they're fiberglass boats
i was in florida at the fort myers airport..they had a boss mustang in there
idunno it looks kinda squashed length-wise.. I still like it though
Very nice car
It's okay. I like the colour. Otherwise, I am of the opinion that most cars of the last 20 years are jelly beans: both because that is what they resemble, and because they all look basically alike, except for the flavour - eh - colour.
If I had to choose a car for looks, I'd go with the 1929 Packard:

that is a very pretty car. yah - mustangs are awesome! and yellow is my fav color!
It is very nice car , too bad that mustang is not for sale in Europe , but i think that will change in future , and the look is great , this version is the best of them all , it has everything that one man needs the look and the power .
I have this car in Turkey
It is a nice car, but my appreciation for the new mustangs have been dimished. A small arab kid at my school got a 2006 mustang GT green. With body kit and racing stripes, 18" wheels, the whole bit. And now he is cocky as hell and i dont liek him. Kinda ruined my appreciation for these cars, although they are very powerful.
what about the new camaro then?
sure, it looks quite nice, and tons of muscles under the hood too
personally I prefer the old version though. I think it has a cleaner look. On the other hand I should STFU until I have seen one for real(and drive it please... time to stop day dreaming?
), since judging a car just after wieving some photos of it is not fair

I had a '89 GT convertible that I got tired of pretty fast and sold after 3 years.. it was fun to drive, but the build quality sucked
the newest incarnation of the Mustang as shown is not bad.. a huge improvement over the SN95 (1995-98 models).. but I still wouldn't buy another Mustang.. they require a ton of modifications and tuning to fix the totally crap steering caused by a heavy front end and light rear end
I raced my GT on Road America (www.roadamerica.com), a 4 mile, 14 turn LeMans style course.. in perfect conditions it was fun to drive.. but when it got cold or wet, I hated driving it because of its tendency to oversteer bigtime

It's made of fiberglass and aluminum with steel frames, no it's not slower, or fatter, and the looks are much cleaner. If you want to compare a STOCK high end Mustang from a while back to the current STOCK high end Mustang from today (the 2006 and 2007), it will knock the socks off the old one. The new 5.3L V8 is a 330 CI engine, and puts out more power, on a lighter chassis. Now honestly, why would they stick with an ungainly heavy design when they can go to a newer material and get a far better power to weight ratio. Take the Ford Shelby GT500, 500HP out of the V8 and it's probably a good 1500 lbs lighter than "muscle" cars that you like. Now, while all my statements have basis in engineering, that has nothing to do with your personal opinion. I won't ever take a personal opinion away from someone.
