You can do it, just practice every day for HOURS. I can play like the first 40 seconds of that song, I fel in love with it like a month ago, but now I haven't had time to finish learning it.

For ur info. google ultimate guitar. When u get to the site, find "Canon Rock" by Jerry C. They should hav guitar pro tabs on that song.

I can play this. JerryC isnt bad, he's pretty sloppy but other than that his rendition of canon in D pretty much kicks ass.

Yeah....well he sounds better than what's his name - yiggy m..... even tho I admire his talent, I think his stuff sounds bad. It's too 1980s.

I'm really struggling to move my fingers as quickly as JerryC does. And I don't exactly know how I should hold my pick to play fast notes. I just hold them with my thumb and index finger and place my pinkie on the 6-string for support (I have small fingers). I feel really restricted and I always pick the wrong string. Plus my pick seems to drag onto the string rather than just slide off and this slows me down. I used a thick pick btw.

ANyone got any tips on how I can improve my soloing. Am I not holding my pick right? Am I suppose to place my pinkie on the guitar for support? Am I digging my pick into the guitar strings too deep?
