MOST of the time... this page is a good example. my posts work, other folks' doesn't... tho i've seen someone else make it work ONCE. do i need to change something?

Re-upload your bbcode.tpl (templates/subSilver/) and posting.php.
We had this same problem. It was because html was on. You have to turn it off in the ACP
