Frihost doesn't have such a button at the moment, but I will try to make a page with all different banners.

Eh?, it's optional I placed a frihost button on my site for apreciation, you dont have to, just nice if you do, frihost doesnt ask for banners on your sites and never will.
Like Maka said, it is more fo a thank you for Bondings hard work and dedication to the site as a whole.
I would place a button like that on my sites as well. Bondings has done a lot for free hosting, giving him a little free press sure doesn't hurt.
I have posted links to this board, and I suggest others do as well, in del.icio.us to get him some more traffic and maybe some press.
Again, this isn't a mandatory flash ad or a annoying little pop under, this is a thank you to a person who has helped us with websites and projects we felt passionate about.
As always, that's my two cents on the matter.

As Maka and WickedGravity said, it is certainly not obligated. You don't have to put a banner on your website and you will never have to do it in the future. Don't worry.
I certainly understand that on some sites such a banner would destroy the design or is just not suited. People don't have to know where your website is hosted, but you can always tell them if you want.
