Soon my Premodded Forum is going to be released. I am looking for Fully Dedicated people to do a number of important tasks. By "Fully Dedicated" I mean that you are willing to work on the project for at least the next couple of releases.
About the Premodded Forum
The current name for the Premodded Forum is "Mezmorizing". It is taken from my site (which is not yet finished) Mezmorizing Creations The name however may change in the near future.
I decided to make a Premodded Forum simlpy because I was getting sick and tired of adding MOD's/Hacks and then realising that they didn't work together. For this reason I decided to make my own Premodded Forum and test it on my own server.
*Note that my aim is not to create the most popular premodded forum, just a simple alternative. Of all the premodded forums that I've used, one didn't work at all. At another premodded forum site I downloaded a language pack which turned out to contain over 50 viruses (this was then closed down by the FBI for a number of days) and the rest that I've tried aren't as secure. All of the premodded forums that I tried also had a longer setup time than phpBB.
What do I get from it?
Absolutely nothing. I am however considering to use ads on my site which will be a shock to everyone that knows me
What do you get from it?
The most awarding thing you'll probably get is you being part of the project. Your name will be contributed in the files that you create *(as well as copyright notices where applicable) as well as in the release documentation. There'll also be a "Staff" page where all Project Staff and contributers will be acknowledged.
Frih$ will also be awarded to those that have contributed to the project. Note that you don't have to be "Fully Dedicated" to recieve Frih$. The amount in Frih$ will depend on the quality of work that they submit.
*Mezmorizing Creations will ultimately held the copyright to any language packs created. Templates may held a copyright notice of the template makers. All styles, languages, images (including forum images and banners), including any hacks/MOD's made for the Mezmorizing Premodded Forum can be freely disributed by Mezmorizing Creations
What are the jobs?
I am looking for the following people:
Languages...
Language Translations = Those that are fluent in more than one language - their job is to translate a whole language pack, (currently consisting of 22 template and 33 php files - you do not have to know php in order to translate).
Styles...
Template creators = Those that have can (easily) convert phpBB styles into a different theme - Note that due to my extensive re-writing there are only a few files that need to be changed in order to achieve this.
Image Creators = Those that are experienced in making forum images - their job is to make a large number of images for the templates. If image creators cannot make basic templates then you are expected to work with a Template Creator.
Other Image Creators = Those that are experienced in making banners - their job is to make up to 10 banners for a template. I will do all the coding, all that is needed is for at least 3 banners to be created. They have to all be along the same themes. These banners will be the main banners for the forum templates so they have to be of a excellent quality.
Testers...
Bug-Testers = Those that are willing to test out the forum under extreme pressures.
Security-Testers = Those that are willing to test out the Premodded Forum's Security.
My aim is not for the forum to be the most downloaded. I would however like at least one other person (other than myself) to use the Premodded Forum
If you are interest in helping out then please reply. I'll need to know of any previous experiences before accepting you onto the team - no experience doesn't mean no position! The forum should be available for release within the next week.
*Note that this is my Project, not FriHosts.
*Also note that this forum is free to download, although I do accept any donations in Frih$ for the project. This will be spent here buying images for templates.
