I am using gprs to connect internet with mobile. my mobile is having Data cable / irda / blue tooth. which is the best and reliable to access internet??
No doubt connecting through blue tooth will give you increased Internet speed.
Data cable is fastest and most secure, followed by bluetooth, IR interfaces (I think) are pretty outdated.
Yes data cable will be most effective in terms of security as well..
I personally would not recommend bluetooth for connecting to the net
I would use data cable if it is a USB cable. If its rs232/serial i would choose bluetooth over it.
Bluetooth should be a similar speed as bluetooth is 1mb, but infrared is ok, but very easy to lose connection and can be slow depending on the speed of the port.
given GPRS's limited bandwith (atleast in india) i really doubt it would make a difference what connection method u use (although IR might crap out on you every so often)... data cable is probably the "securest" and it wont suffer from breaks or anything (bluetooth just *might*)
