Different DirectAdmin versions?

In the services I've been providing (most recently a forum installation), EVERYONE seems to have a much better version of DirectAdmin. I just don't get that!

Not only do they all have better-looking versions, but they're way more user-friendly. Could someone help me understand, and hopefully fix, this problem?

How would I find out who made my account?

I changed the skin/template now as it seems like most people like the "enhanced" one. (I don't tbh)

May be I am confused.

Sorry if I questioned you or anything but which of these is the enhanced skin the first screenshot or the second?
