Amoung the displines taught to the aspiring Priests and Priestesses, at least in my form of Neo-Paganism, are meditation (achieving the alpha state), visualization (really a bad name because it invloves all the senses not just visual), auto-hypnosis, grounding and centering, and the ability to control the bodies internal energy (what the Japanese call Ki, the Chinese call Chi, and the Hindu call Prana).
