did you put an index.html or index.php file in the public_html folder.?
The file /domains/munkeyboy.frih.net/public_html/index.html is empty and that is the one that shows when you request your subdomain url, it is http://www.munkeyboy.frih.net/ .
He has an index.html file, the index.html file doesn't load.
scorpio, you will receive a 403 error if you don't have those.
@munkey_boy, you'll have to wait for Bondings . I think Apache stopped parsing HTML files, lol.
n0obie4life, you didn't see my post I guess. Html files don't need to be parsed and they are showing up fine. Even the empty page is showing up like it should (a lot of people use empty pages for directories and that's how they want it to be).
I posted right after you! (probably like 2 seconds, cause when I hit reply, I didn't see yours)
That's why I didn't see your reply
so i have to wait for bondings? oh and scorpio i have had m site up fora while and its been working fine, untill today...
He says that your index.html file is empty.
Thats why it is not working.
Check it once again.
My website isn't loading either.
Weird. I can login to DirectAdmin, but I can't view any pages.
I can even upload stuff through FileZilla, I just can't see my site.
It was all working fine up until ten minutes ago. I was installing
myBB and it was working fine. I was going to browse over to my
forums when my site just stopped responding. Now all I can do
is login to DirectAdmin. I made a backup of my site, I just hope
it isn't a hacker attacking us.
Something's must be wrong because both of us are experiencing
the same problem. By the way, I can't see your forums, munkey_boy.
You said you can? I can't see yours OR mine. Just plain odd.
Edit: Seems to be working fine now. We just had to wait a few minutes.
Shake, I think apache was down for a while when you posted.
The problem is that when I enable the monitoring service, it almost always thinks it is down and restarts it every x minutes (causing a few seconds downtime too). So I can either let it run not very often or disable the http monitoring.
The problem with munkey_boy is that the index.html page is empty and hence that's what you see.
Thanks bondings and everyone else who helped
