Wordpress Doubt - -Urgent

I have finally installed a wp blog.

I want to add my blogging to it now.

If I download a new theme and change from the current theme will my earlier writings get affected or removed?

or will only the theme alone change leaving the earlier links and text intact?

You will not lose your posts/links once you change your theme.

But anything you might have manually modified (like removing the search box), they will come back, but you can remove it yourself by going into the theme's source code Wink

You can use any free software you want, such as Wordpress or PhpBB or any other.
