I'm searching for a sound card that is going to have obviously great quality sound, records well, can support a midi keyboard and have latency ~0
Best Sound Card
I have Terratec Phase28 professional sound card, its great and pretty cheap too.
Low latency, great sound quality, but it has poor drivers..
Well, how much money are you willing to spend on your soundcard ?
Maybe you should look for EMU that has ASIO support and DSP ( digital signal processor ).
There are some external EMU sound cards that can be plugged both in desktop in your studio and laptops for live acts.

The best I know is Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum !
I agree with Sinux. But the Audigy 2 is a cheaper option for the average user.
yea and there have been some driver issues with the x fi...
creative x-fi platinum is da best, but fatality will also do
if u wanna go cheaper, try the audigy 2 platinum or audigy 4 series (4 is hard 2 find)
M-music is also good i hear

I agree. X-fi Plantinum and Fatal1ty are the best. Though, they're not meant for the average user. Audigy 2 is probably best for the money.
I use a SB Audy 2, get the X-Fi...
