Do u Use Flash Content in your web site
Macromedia Flash is the web best application (I think) for web site animation and you can also add interactivity to the web site.
The newer version is more faster i.e.
Wanna know more about FLASH. Log on to www.macromedia.com in product section Click on flash.
You can use programming in flash for adding interactivity language is called AS (Action Script) -> Now AS2.0 ActionScript 2.0. It support OOP concept.
*OOP Stand for - Object oriented programming.
You can also use server interactions etc for dynamic web sites.
overall I found it very usefull and it took me only 2 or 3 books to learn most of it.

well, i guess this has been a very discussed topic around here. The ideea is knowing when exactly to use flash, and when not to, or in which quantities. Making a full-flash website means you will never ever be properly indexed by search engines, as they don't read swf file sproperly. For a presentation website, which you know will only be viewed by clients yeah, go for it, but for an information website it's best to keep the flash element to a minimum.

i try to avoid using flash because it increase digital divide
flash is "heavy" [at least back in the days of 56k]
when i see a flash page i feel like there is a wall between me and the site,
you can't do anything, you only can watch like tv
i'm not saying flash is evil, but [TO ME] not suitable for web
I'm really new to flash so I've not been really that keen on learning it, I guess that later I'll try learning it!

OK, I need to change my mind now.
I totally agree to you.
I can't think a site without flash banners and some small menu tricks which is made with flash. But learning scripts and codes? No:)

Exactly
Menus and presentations are really classy and give that edge when made with flash.
Otherwise as mentioned above, search engines will fail to index your page unless your site is very famous.
like coca cola or something
Flash is good. I use it for my media player and header. It makes your website more presentable and nice...
I agree that flash "elements" are nice to have, however making the entire site out of flash is A: heavy and B: Not smart from a search engine point of view.
If you want o make your movies using flash, thats one thing, or making your buttons or banners with flash, but if the entire site is made using flash, then its too heavy and for people like me who dont have the web based flash app installed on their browser, cant see your site.
Even if you do user flash on your site, make an index page that lets the viewrer select from and HTML and Flash version.

I don't.
It makes the website run slower and not XHTML Strict Valid. Meaning I don't use it.
