? Many thanks. I just try to design under linux but can't use IE that most people use juts for check that it is still what I see through Galeon.
Do you have a browser for linux that interprets html like IE
I don't think you can find any other browser that behaves/renders likeIE.
But you can install IE in linux using wine.
May i know what distro you're using? most distros have a version of wine packaged in their CDs but does install wine by default, you have to dig a little.
After you have installed wine. you can got Frank's Corner for the instructions on how to install IE in linux using wine

hop this helps

Wine really makes possible to install windows software on linux? I use UHU Linux that is a hungarian made distro built on debian base.
In my experience, sometimes Wine works, but often times it doesn't. It's pretty cool though.

Wine will attempt to run Windows executables. Whenever the program sends a request to the Windows window manager (like open a window, put a button on it, etc.) wine tries to forward it to the X-Windows environment. But if the program makes some other requests (Windows system calls and the like), wine will fail to run it. Pretty good tool, though.
PS: You can PM me in Hungarian if you need any help.

Do you speak hungarian?
Where can I got the software? I mean wine.
Yes, I am Hungarian.
The simplest way to get wine is from a repository. You should have aptitude, or, even better, synaptic. Add the following repository:
URI: ftp://ftp.hu.debian.org
Distribution: stable
Section: contrib main non-free
Search for wine, and install it.
You can also go to wine's website: http://www.winehq.org
