batchupload (3 Files at once)
10-25MB FIle Size Limit.
viperbattlefield
actually the layout looks very nice. keep it up it looks really cool
brokenfaith
The new one is a lot cooler, and more profesionaly though.
salman_500
nice site there man... even though the layout is not awsm.... but its good with all those registrants and uploads.... keep it up..
brokenfaith
Smile thanks, the layout and new coding is almost done.
Traveller
It looks pretty nice, and sounds pretty interesting, but it might help if you hadn't copied large sections of text from someone else's website (or, at least, that you had remembered to change all references to the original site).

The following was what I just now copied and pasted from your website's FAQ:
Quote:
Downloading
Can I download media that has been uploaded to Putfile?

Which led me to check out http://www.putfile.com, in whose FAQ I found:

Quote:

Can I download media that has been uploaded to Putfile?

For another example...yours:
Quote:
How long will my files stay online for?

Granted that you do not violate our TOS, your media will stay online for the duration of its activity plus six months. This means that as long as your video or image receives one view every six months it will stay online forever.

Of course, some of it was changed...yours:
Quote:
Are there any restrictions on the content that I may upload?

* No illegal content
* Nothing you wouldn't want your mother seeing!

I know that:) It was filler text until we got our new layout, in which case we will be writing our own..
xorcist
The layout looks good especially for a image hositng place I thought it might be a simple layout but it looks good mabye you should keep it like that for a while.
Traveller
Cool. Just be careful of the fact that PutFile's pages do contain a copyright notice, so your site could be vulnerable to litigation unless and until you do write your own. It's one thing to use something as filler before your site is "live," but when your site is already online, anyone can see it.

It DOES look good at the moment, though.
jayzee
Great site...the layout i belive it does needs modifications but overall great service and really usefull website..

Great work
warallthetm
So if i sign up, would the host kinda work like photobucket, or does it delete after six months like other image hosts?
openaasman
i find ur site is good
bjwok
looks interesting? but i am dubious about these things, what if you're a photgrapher and have a single file that doesn't get viewed for 6 months, then when someone wants to possibly buy it (from a link at the photgraphers site, and a smaller gif version) they click on the high res to link to your hosting site and it is not there! = lost sale = Sad

good idea, good file size, but allow the files to remain forever.
brokenfaith
Ive redid the tos and faq, images stay forever, or as long as our servers are up Smile
brokenfaith
Any other feedback?
bjwok
i signed up, but i have several additional gripes:

there is no directory structure, no where you can go and see the files you have uploaded, check file names, change file names etc etc.

also, why can you not create folders to organise and store your images? adding a default 001, 002, 003 etc etc before a file is not very well organised in my opinion.

you've got a long way to go before the tag line of 'best image hosting out there' can be justified.
brokenfaith
We have 001 002 etc etc so the imaes split up properly, and are not all batched in one server, that way its faster, and more reliable.

We dont do things like edit your pics, and store them because were not a photoblog like photobucket were just an image hostnig site to upload your images fast, were not trying to be a photo blog.
bjwok
hi brokenfaith,

so are you saying that if i host all my images for my site with you, there will be no real way of getting the url of them unless i do note it down at the time of upload?
Tomppe
Relly nice site!
bjwok
mine or his tomppe?
Tomppe
His, of course Very Happy
Technaut
i like the layout, it's very nice. very professional-looking.

For now yes, MAYBE one day ill implement a script where you can see all the images youve uploaded with the url but that would be it, not deleting pics, nor editing them.
rafifaisal
Nice site.
One question though: Are the uploaded files secured with a password or are they publicaly viewable ?
CyanEyed
check out www.fileden.com they're a lot better. sorry if this offends anyone - im in a bad mood today
rafifaisal
And are the files here public viewable ? ?
bjwok
hey CyanEyed,

i wonder if at the fileden your files are ever deleted for any reason?

this seems to be the catch with a lot of these free image hosting places, but i do like the layout of this one over the click2host site...
CyanEyed
they never deleted, allow hotlinking etc max file size 50mb (may be increased soon) max storage 500mb. similar to www.filelodge.com but more reliable. if you register they aren't publicly viewable unless you give someone a link or you hotlink it. if you don't register, the newest files are displayed on the homepage.

ps: you can store almost any file type not just images ie. video, images, zips, docs, mp3 - pretty much anything and everything.
rafifaisal
I have just registered with fileden.com and i like it.
So now i can upload files and in my site can i just use pictures located here directly ? ? ?
brokenfaith
THe only way the pics you upload are public is if you post it pubically. WE (c2H) dont look at / nor share the pics you uplaod, and please dont spam my thread with antother site.
bjwok
gotta say brokenfaith, i think you are losing out to the fileden here champ! their interface is much cleaner and easier to navigate, not to mention the other obvious option of being able to locate and update files after they have been uploaded!

on another note, how is changing a thread's direction even closely compared to spamming? Confused
ninjakannon
I like it! I wouldn't say that it wasn't professional Wink

Only thing I've found that's not working properly is your google adsense, just under the "Want An Extension Added?" link the google adsense doesn't work on every page.
