Does anyone know if it is common to journey by bike in new zealand? I'm wondering about that. In holland lot's of people go by bike to school or work, it's verry common. Is that also in New Zealand?

I live in New Zealand and bike to college everyday. My sister bikes too and so do a lot of my friends.
As for your question, well, at my college some bike (about 10%) heaps walk (about 45%) a few get the car (20%) and quite a lot catch the bus (25%)
So yeah quite a lot bike to my school and around the place I also see quite a lot of other people biking.
