I want to know about what is web site advertising and how can we advertise our personal website. is there are web sites those gives the facility of advertising their web site.and if possible please tell me also the names for those sites which provides advertising facility.

web site advertising is advertising your website in order to get more visitors and hence more business. Well there are many ways to advertise your personal website such as link exchange, opting for google adwords program ( http://adwords.google.com ) . If you want to earn money by your persoanl website then you can sign up free for google adsense ( http://adsense.google.com ). After sign up, you will get some ads to put up on your site and if any person from your website clicks on the ads, you will get some money.

Anyway, you have a number of sites like www.cj.com www linkshare.com
www.affiliatecurry.com

You register yourself as an advertiser there.
You supply your ads. The publishers will publish them on their website

Depending on no. of clicks or purchases you can pay them

well there are a no. of websites available for this. If you want to pay though pay per click system, then you can try google adwords ( http://adwords.google.com ), if you want to pay the publisher per sale or per lead or per sign up then try ( www.cj.com , www.commissionmonster.com ). If you want to pay on the basis of per thousand impressions then try www..fastclick.net

also add ADBRITE to that list, its a pretty good site for advertising, i think i'm going to switch over to that once my site is complete, than remove those ads and hope for the adbrite to come through.

Its not a book, its software that you turn on whenever you like and it sends huge floods of traffic to your site!!
