Has to be Stephen King, and my favourite book of his is 'Dreamcatcher' although the film was a big let down.

unfortunatly I saw the movie "Dreamcatcher" before reading the book...and I have to agree, it was a let down. I certainly hope the book works out better.

have you read both versions of it? There is a "Director's Cut" that contains several hundred additional pages that were edited from the first publishing.
Yeah...it was my favorite of his also, but I was a bit dissappointed with the ending. Rather anti-climatic.
