i tried making a post from writely to my blog on frihost.but it kept returning an error saying unauthorised.has anyone else encountered this error?

It is a trifle difficult to comment on this, as :
1> You have not specified which blog software you're using.
2> Writely access is invitation only, so not many people have accounts there which can be used to test and cross-check your problems. (Take the hint
)
The error is probably due to the fact that authentication is not setup to allow desktop blog software to post using XML-RPC. I'm unable to help you much, unless you mention which blog software you are using.
