Hi guys, as you all know, its Arsenal and Barcelona in the Finals of the champions league. Who will win? Well, i personally back Arsenal. What do you guys think? Yes i know that Barcelona is so much stronger than Arsenal in terms of strength and skill, but well, I've just got this hunch that Arsenal will make it in the end. Post your comments guys! Cheers!

While Arsenal will give them some sort of challenge....it'll be Barca who should win. Barca have the players and the talent to do it. 
There isn't any reason to favour Arsenal. They are worse than they have been in the past few years.
I agree with you guys. Barca win. Better players and Ronaldinho who has nice tricks, Eto'o and some more stars.
We saw strange things happening last season in the final. Milan were the big favourite before that one and certainly after 45 minutes no one gave a f... for Liverpool's chances. Still they won. Only can't see it happening for Arsenal this time and wouldn;t want to see it too, unless the Frog starts with Bergkamp and Dennis scores the winner.

hmm arsenal have performed well, but i dont think that will be enought to beat barca. remember, this is arsenal's first final. so the pressure is always on them. and barca have been there many many times...

I am an arsenal supporter and would love them to win ..but seeing the present form i guess barca have the better chance of lifting the cup
I believe that Barca take the Champion's league. The score will be 3 - 1 Barcelona are a lot stronger than Arsenal, but in a Champions League final, the pressure is immense on both teams.
I do think, that this time there wont be so many goals, and probably a 1-0 or 2-0 win for either team.
Its obvious for neutral and barca supporters to think that they will win, but I think Arsenal have got a good chance too.
But as a neutral, infact an Arsenal enemy, I support Barca and im pretty sure they will win it.

well well, I'm still on Arsenal guys. In terms of strength, arsenal is the weaker side. but still, my bet is on Arsenal to win the champion's league, its juz a feeling man. N looking at how english teams are doing in the Uefa competitions, Both middlesbrough n arsenal are the in the finals. England will definitely be in the semi finals on this coming world cup, with or without Rooney. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Can't wait to know the results. Cheers! Arsenal are the underdogs, but if you're there you can win it.
Can't help but think that the Gunners look destined to lift the Cup in Paris.. Last year it was Liverpool and this time around I think Arsenal are looking like desiny awaits them.. A team with that much pedigree deserves atleast one European Championship.. But Barca are definitely the stronger side on paper, both in terms of talent and experience.
Atleast Arsenal ensured that they will be in next season's Champions League by finishing fourth in the Premiership. So no added pressure during the Final..

Whatever happens it should end up being one hell of a night of football. Henry against Ronaldinho. I think Henry is more in form. what a match of him last weekend. He is going to hurt the weak Barca defense.

Arsenal manged to get in front of Spurs at the weekend and I can see their fluckiness getting them the game against Barcelona.
It's the end of the season but they've just hit form.

Arsenal will do it, but it will be no thanks to Henry. He did start to pull the team apart at one point this season.

yea, i think Barcelona is going to win the cup. Although Barcelona is much better than Arsenal in recent years by looking at their records, Arsenal is really good too and, as you may remember, the winner of the Cup were usually the ones that were looked down by the public (though I'm a liverpool fans) in the past two years. Therefore Barcelona does not have the absolute advantage. So i think it's going to be a close match but I believe that Barcelona will be the winner.
I always want British clubs to win in Europe and was supporting Arsenal until I found out that if Arsenal win Celtic have to play qualifying rounds, if Barca win they dont.
I personally think that the Champions league sucks if Country champions still have to qualify wheras clubs coming scond in other countries dont.
For that reason I have to support Barca to allow a country's champions to take their righful place without having to play qualifying matches.

I still feel that Barca will bounce back and win the game. They look impressive even though they missed goal chance at half time. Ronaldinho will turn the game in the second half.

poor Henry, his teammates doesn't help him at all. HAHA This game was a perfect example of why getting a red card early in a game is too harsh a punishment for the crime.
If you do the same foul in the last two minutes, then you suffer the consequences for only a brief time.
Committing the foul in the 20th minute, your punishment lasts 70 minutes instead of two. For the exact same foul!
Instead there should be an automatic penalty shot, not this red card randomness.
Well Well, Barca finally lifted the Champion's league trophy after 14 years.
It was a good game, not that great though because of the rain, but still a game worthy of a champion's league final. Arsenal should be disappointed for conceding the red card, but i should say the foul was inevitable and brave Arsenal showed great spirit to fight on after losing a player so early in the game.
Bracelona showed great spirit, but didn't have the best of luck in the first half of the game. Great defending by Arsenal didnt give ronaldhino much room to perform but the stealthy E'To was a constant torn in Arsenal's defense.
The equaliser by E'to dampened Arsenal's spirit a lot. Its understandable though, cos they had struggled to keep a clean sheet for a long period of the game and many of the players are already very tired. Plus the heavy rain seems to have dragged down the spirits of the arsenal players even further.
The winner came quite unexpectedly though and I personally was quite shocked. By that time, all is over as arsenal players are really too tired to battle for a winner.
The credit should go to Barcelona, the undisputed champions of Europe, They certainly deserved it! Cheers! yeah as i said before Barca won it but i think Ronaldinho did'nt played well...Arsenal was also good...I had thought they will win but Etoo'o didn't agree with me... | djsamsung wrote: |

It was difficult for Arsenal since they were reduced to 10. Henry was not happy with the umpiring on that occasion. In fact, fault on Henry was not called by the umpire as well. So, things were not in favour of Arsenal. In fact, the second half was one sided match.I would say that both teams played well...
Unfortunaly Fc. Barcalona just keeps getting better and better It was an okay game I will say (the memory of the last cup final is still sticking in my head). I think Arsenal has played better than Barcelona, because they held on to their 1-0 advantage for most part of the game even though they had less people in the field than Barcelona. It is unfortunate to Arsenal of the last two loss goals, but Henry was kind of in a bad shape too. I think he could play much better than that. Anyway, Barcelona won the game, so congratulation to Barcelona

It wasn't Ronaldinho that everybody talks about whe lead them to victory.
Even Thierry Henry payed tribute to Larsson after the game, when he was interviewed by the british tv... He said that he saw Larsson and not Ronaldinho, Larsson changed the match alone and killd it. He was the one that realy made the difference tonight.
I really must agree, with two great assists he shows what a great and important player he is.
It must be the perfekt ending for Henrik Larsson. A player who make his last big match, in the worlds greatest cup, for the worlds greatest team can go in and settle the score like that.
They say that maby 300 000 people filled the streets in Barcelona, if it wasn't for Henrik Larsson they could have stayed at there homes.
This was just an beutiful ending! Henrik Larsson is more then just a player!
Now I can't wait for the World cup to start...I'm glad barca beat the arse. Being a chelsea fan i don't think i could stand it if arsenal lift the champions league before we do, we'd never here the end of it i don't think.
I love how henry criticizes the ref's performance and barca for diving, but doesn't mention the fact that eboue should have had 3 yellow cards, 1 of them for the diabolical dive that won the free kick for arsenal's goal.
i cannot believe the remarks thierry henry made about the referee!!!! he rekons "if the ref wanted barca to win, he should have just told us before the game"..... are you crazy theirry henry??? yes the ref didnt have the best game, BUT he was consistently bad!!!..... if it wasn't for the ref barca would have won 3-0 not 2-1 lol, for 1, the goal when lehman was red carded would have stood AND Arsenal would have never scored, that was a shocking dive to get the freekick, from a different angle you can see that the player wasnt even touched!
