Which bookmark manager do you use?

Do you prefer online bookmark service or desktop program?

I currently use bookmark buddy.
Advantage: small in size, portable with usb, fetch URL from any browser, store site's metadata
Disadvantage: stricted on category level: catergory > subcatergogy > bookmark. NOT a FREEWARE.

For online service, I'm using mybookmarks
Advantage: intuitive organizer, synchronize with you computer easily with stand-alone utility remark

Recently, I found netvibes's bookmark module which is really fast.

Could anyone recommend me a good free bookmark manager for desktop (cross-flatform)?

Thank you

My goddamn bookmarks keep getting deleted, because for some reason firefox resets itself once in a while but only deletes bookmarks and things happen like when you get new extensions, it asks if you accept the terms etc. You probably won't know what I'm talking about, but I didn't know how to phrase it.
