i think this game is just awsome..it has kickass graphics really amazing ai and the storyline is just fabulous.....tts wat i think anyways...to me its the best game ever....i really cant wait for the new one to come out....the game is just so cool....well i think i better start saving money to buy the new one when it comes out

I think the ending of HL2 is pretty conclusive... I actually think I said something like "I guess the will be no HL3 then" when I finished it...
HAlf-Life 2 was awesome. It's not just the graphics that are impressive, but the gameplay, the story, and the physics that are involved. I enjoy the 1984ish style of the game, the plot is awesome.
If they do make another sequal, I really doubt it's going to be a good as 1 and 2 though
However, I'll be definitely in line at the store for one if it comes out. I just love the HL series, as well as the mods that come out with it.

I love this game! The physics are awesome, the graphics are sick, and the gameplay is intense. I really liked how, different from other games, there is no death animation. It just lets the physics do the work! Awesome puzzles that are actually mind-bending. This game makes you do what no other game can, it makes you think! What more can I say about this game besides “ZOMFG HL2 FTW!” 
I love this game it's a legend i think and i suggest you should play it with mods...As you can see many of mods can easily have fun and really effects game's physic...

Hmm, actually, I think they left the ending open enough for a Half-Life 3. I mean, ValVe is still coming out with Half-Life 2: After-Math, with the ability to play as Alex Vance, but really, it just seems like there is more that the G-Man can put Gordan through. They may even use the new physics system that's supposed to come out and be super realistic.
Anyways, great physics, great gameplay, great story, good AI (they weren't that smart all the time and would stand still sometimes), but my favorite thing has to be the weapon mods! I mean, a PSP that shoots lethal UMD discs? Hilarity!

Well, either way Valve is coming out with something that begins with "Half-Life" so I'm excited!
Half Life 2 is amazing. The graphics are stunning, the audio is fantastic, the gameplay is smooth, the A.I. is brilliant and the realitic physics make Half Life 2 a truly awesome experience.
I thought the ending was "The End", but then I hear about those new "Half-life episodes" or whatever coming out. Wonder how they're gonna do the transition.

Ahh, I've been out of the loop lately on Half-Life, well, out of the loop with games period. The only games I'm paying that much attention to are games that are advertised on TV. I didn't even know Subsistance was out until a week or so ago, and I've been waiting non-stop for that game.

There will be Episode one rather than Aftermath. You will still go by Gordon, but in Episode one Alyx will show you how good she is in fight and she'll help you survive. In episode one the citadel is going to crush and you must escape from the city with citizens and watch out for the aliens which got into the city. There will be more about stalkers (impolite prisoners of Dr. Breen)

1. G-Man is not the Gordon Freeman from the future. G-Man is a shortcut from Government-Man. He's a special, mysterious agent and he's duty is to rescue the Earth from the Combine and Dr Breen.
2. G-Man didn't help you on the Xen. He wasn't even interrested in you. You rescued yourself and the vortigaunt aliens. In the end of the game the G-Man has noticed you, and offered a job. You worked for him only in HL2, not in HL1.

UT doesn't have so amazing graphisc. The objects in UT 2007 will just have very gib numbr of polygons. The games on PS3 have better graphisc. Did you hear about Crysis? It will be in DirectX 10. The soft shadows are great.

I love Half-life 2. I try to play the deathmatches as much as I can. Iw there a UT 2006? I haven't seen it yet. Just wondering. I haven't played the Lost Coast Version yet. Is that an addon or a continuing sega?
I love the game. I spent 3 days completing it on easy after the christmas of 2004. I was living off chocolate oranges, celebrations and red bull playing this game that the sheer graphics and gameplay of I couldn't pull away from. I basically got up, played half life and then went to bed those three days... I had the X800 XT back then and it looked sweet as hell compared to my previous Radeon 9500 on games like Halo. The bits that make you jump are excellent, the physics insane, graphics are stunning. My overal conclusion: aweesssome!
I was like that too. I had to conquer the game. I love the deathmatch games. The things that happen in there make me laugh. Do any of you play the online death matches? It is really fun.

I never got into the multiplayer (even with it being bundelled with CS). That's I think the only let down of the game.
Do you mean that the multiplayer mode sucks, or that you didnt get in to it? I, for one, was fully satisfied with beating Half-Life 2 and after that stuck with good ol' CS 1.6.

I tried CS and I like that too. But sometimes I just like to let loose with some good old fragging. Just relieves the tension of my job. Just a fun outlet. I love the game in all facets. Graphics are better than the original, but that one was fun too.
I don't know I kinda not like shotters.
I like the multi-player because every one can participate and it something some one can do after the game. I think the game prepares you for that. But Hlaflife2 seems to be a continuing episode, just saw it in the news part of the game. Any play the lost coast addon yet? Looks good.

Half-Life 2 was okay, and I saw the 1 hour bunny hoping movie is kind of funny and interesting how the guy skips some of the different areas. I think the best part of Halflife is the Mods. Counter-Strike was a sweet game when it came out, and stayed on top of the Online gameplay heap. CounterStrike Source, is ten time sweeter. It takes all of the best parts of counter strike and ups the Graphics, Phisics, and Sound.
Day of Defeat Source is a great game but I guess Call of Duty 2 beat it release and recieved the prize as top WWII shooter.
And there are a ton of other fun Mods, most are free too.:
Empires Mod (It is like Battlefield 2 and Command & Conquer put together)
Plan of Attack
And so on
If you like the Phisics of Halflife 2 You have got to get Garrys Mod, it lets you have total control of the Halflife 2 world, you can create any object and do what ever you want with them. It is crazy what you can do with it all!!
If you want a look at the lastest Halflife 2 graphics try Loct Coast, it is a very short level, which shows off HDR.
Sin Episodes are coming out, and also the Episode One is coming the beginning of June.

Where can I get Garry's Mod. Sounds like a lot of fun. I really want to try something new. Is this something I can get from steam? Is it free or commercial. Not that I have seen many commercial ones yet. Let me know I really would like to know. Yes I have to agre Counter Strike source is nice. I really enjoy it too.
Yes, you can get it through Steam. Go to your games tab and look for "Garry's Mod". It should be grayed out or dull in color if it's not installed. Double-click it! If it's not there you can also try googling it (garry's mod). If memory serves then it should be a .tv site, but it's very likely that I'm wrong.

I just got a new GFX card to play this game, and it kicks ass. Best game i've played so far.
Well my HL2 Deathmatch server is ready. I will put it up when I can play, probably tomorrow. It is called Chizeled's House of Death, see you there. Oh yeah, if anyone could tell me what they think I would apprciate it. My Clan site will be ready soon to visit. I am still looking for admins for the site and forums. Just to clear things up in the posts on the first page AfterMath and Episode 1 are the same. The box says in big letters (Episode 1) and under it it says AfterMath.

I have to agree that steam can be annoying sometimes, but if all the people that pirate these games would stop, prices would go down and it would be better. Well that's my two cents, I just want to play now and enjoy having fun. I will download the demo first and then buy it if I really want it. Oh, well. Have Fun.

Don't they offer that game as a demo for current Steam Users? If not do you when they are going to offer it. When is the release date on Episode 1. I love HL2 and I hope it stays for a while. There is so much they can do with this game. Anyone has any info let me know.
Its sad to see that HL2 has -after almost 2,5 years since release- still the best physics and graphics.
