Anyone have some suggestions on accounts to save for a deposit on a home? I've heard of the Vanguard Wellington, etc. accounts, but are there any high interest accounts I'm missing out on? Any other advice for a first time home buyer? Is it terribly necessary for me to have a professional inspect the house?? Thanks for your help!

I'm no pro, But perhaps you can give out more info on what you are looking for specifically in a house. How much are you willing to spend? How long are you willing to go into debts to get the money? Other than that you will need a deposit. Which for first time buyers which I'm presumming you are, You usually get government help. In Canada thats the case, They help back the loan.
