C: S. Oneal/ (I choose Amare Stoudemire for 2nd)
PF: Duncan (I prefer KG but Duncan just won the champion with Spurs...)
SF: Lebron James , he's talented! I believe he's the next Jordan (2nd comes to T-Mac)
SG: Allen Iverson (2nd comes to Wade)
PG: Nash (this year) (Actually Kidd should be the first)
I'm not sure if AI and Wade play as a PG or SG now, but they play more likely as a SG....lol, so I'll put them all in SG role

The chinese is Yao Ming. But another chinese is a better player than him, Wang Zhi Zhi. But Yao Ming was just too sensational because of his height. Imagine, a mobile and versatile 7'6" player. Right now, the best for me today is Duncan. But of course, definitely, no other player compares to Michael Jordan. Hey, even Kobe, Iverson and Shaq were still around when Jordan was at prime with the bulls. But they were all outshone by his airness greatness. One thing though - if I'd choose Kobe, he's not the best I think - cannot be compared to the likes of Michael Jordan. Kobe cannot even outplay Jeff Hornaceck of the once great Utah Jazz bannered by Stockton and Malone then.

Tim Duncan is the best player in the NBA, period. If you need further proof then I direct you to Game 7 of the NBA finals.
I think that the best player in the past era, was Larry Bird, because he could make shots from each part of the court and he could make some incredibles moves. Now, the best player is Vince Carter, for a few reasons, his speed, his movements and os course his jumps. He is the best dunker ever and for me the best player of this era.
I would say that Vince Carter played better a few seasons ago compared to now. After his trade to NJ he is starting to play better again. The best players in the NBA would be: Allen Iverson, Tim Duncan, Dwayne Wade.

For all those who disagree, think about it: they had to change the rules about zone defense to adapt to his domination of freaking everyone.
