In phpbb forums, what is the process in order to input your choice of links or ads, logos, banners, text in the forums pages.

In the frihost forum you have the frihost logo on the top..
other than that you have google and chitika ads inbetween the posts or topics

Two ways you can do this:
1: Figure out the banner image's name by right clicking and selecting properties(or image properties for Opera Users), then use FTP and replace that image
2: Modify the template. I haven't used this method before on a PhpBB forum before and I cannot tell you what to modify exactly.

You'll need to modify the '.tpl' files located at the following URL:
Presuming the template you have is subSilver,
http://www.iscorpio.com/iforums/templates/subSilver/filename.tpl
There are many .tpl files. If you want to edit the header, I suggest you edit the 'overall_header.tpl' file. To edit the footer, edit the 'overall_footer.tpl'.

Editing the forum title and forum description in the general config section of your admin panel will change "yourdomain.com" and "A _little_ text to describe your forum" to whatever you want. If you want to change the logo, you will have to look in "overall_header.tpl" in your templates folder. (I believe an above poster told you where it would be located.) If you wanted to put Google ads in-between the posts, you would have to edit "viewtopic.tpl".
