Does anyone know a free program where i can record a podcast and save it as an mp3 file? and is there also a free program out there where you can make free intoductions and eveything like play music that isnt copyrighted?

From what I understand when you subscribe to a podcast you are downloading the files to your comoputer so all you have to do is convert the file from AAC or whatever the podcast is to MP3, although I don't see why you would want to do that. Finding the sound files depends on your OS.. what'ya got man?
Give Audacity a try. It's free, cross platform and open source. It allows multiple channels, etc. There's a bit a of a learning curve, but worth it.
