Hi!
I am looking for a solution to this problem. I have a Toshiba Satellite A70 Laptop. I have installed there Fedora Core and windows XP. Everything is perfect and its running great except I am not having any sound in the Linux OS. I tried to fix it with sound server, but it didnt worked. Can anyone guide me to solve this problem? If more information needed I am ready to supply it. Thanks in advance...

I think you must install the offical driver for you hardware!
Before install the drive for hardware,You must insall the driver of motherboard, example via 4in1 or intel chipest driver!

Hi I found a similar probelm with one of my friend using RH9 and Windows XP....later we found that the problem was with the AMD processor chipset. RH9 inbuilt drivers couldn't make the sound card work.So please check out...may be it will help.
