Stern was optioned to AAA Pawtucket today, and utilityman Willie Harris was called up to take his place on the 25-man roster. This was expected, as Stern was up here to fulfill the requirements of the Rule 5. He will get a lot more playing time at Pawtucket, and hopefully he'll be back either this year or next!
