Ha! Philosophy is so vague that your essay could literally go anywhere, it is supposed to link in with a topic you've been studying?

Propsed ideas;
1.) The Sun has always risen before, why would it stop now?
2.) People paying attention to the movements of the planets would know if it wasn't (more science than philosophy).
3.) "Rising" is only a point of view from human. Has the Sun truly ever "risen"?

Dang it, you beat me to it.

My freshmen year of college I wrote a 5 page paper based on something more an eddie murphy movie. It was awesome.

Good only knows will it rise or not! It is in His glorious hands, He who made it will decide it will it rise tomorrow! The God of heaven knows it for He made it!
Ask Him, he knows, you might get an answer or then not! The Lord God whose Son is Jesus, He has given us free access to the Father! Very Happy Laughing

So in short, the sun will rise if it is God's will! Laughing

David Hume used this as an example about irrational beliefs relating to inductive reasoning and cause and effect.

David Hume said that we can't help but believe that the sun will rise tomorrow because we reason inductively. According to Hume, we have no choice but to believe the regularity will continue. The problem with inductive reasoning is that it is not necessarily rational.
The problem of induction is discussed here.
Humes work about Cause and Effect is discussed here.

that is not something that's up to me. if God decides that the sun will not rise, there's nothing noone can do. the sun will not rise. if god says "instead of making the sun rise at 7 am, it will do it at 1503", then the sun will rise at 1503. scientists may come and say "well, that's not true. the earth rotation and [...]" well, God created the solar system and how it works and all that stuff and he has the power to make it stop or change the way in which it works. so if i say "the sun will rise tomorrow" or if i say "the sun will not rise tomorrow" i would be speculating because actually i can't say that: it's up to God. but according to what i think can happen, the sun may rise tomorrow.
another think to take into concideration is the fact that "my sun" may not rise. i may die tonight. i have no biological chances of dying, but again if God calls me, i will have to go with him. in that case, i won't see another sunrise again in the world.
that's why God is the only one who can answer this question.
