Your Favorite Japanese Monster and It's Movies
So according to this article, there will be no more Godzilla movies.
I'm talking about the fabulous, well-scripted, exciting Japanese ones, not THAT ABOMINATION OF A MOVIE BY ROLAND INDEPENDENCE WAR OF THE WORLDS DAY EMMERICH.
Ok, as I was saying, there will be no more Japanese Godzilla movies according to this article. On the bright side, there seems to be a new Gamera movie in Japan (****WARNING: IF YOU CARE, THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THE ARTICLE ABOUT THE GAMERA MOVIE****)

I will miss them. I grew up watching the whole lot of them and was quite upset when King Kong defeated Godzilla in the aptly titled "King Kong vs Godzilla"
So my favorite has to be "Godzilla Vs MechaGodzilla" two Godzilla's, one evil, the other good, both destroy Tokyo anyway.
What's your favorite movie? Oh yeah, handy-dandy poll, in case you want to chime in on your fav monster instead. You know my fav monster.

First off, the article doesn't quote the source of this, what I can only call a rumour. Second, the article then goes on to say:

| No doubt, somewhere down the road, our favourite beast will reawaken with a fresh bout of nuclear testing |
I can't see such a sucessful franchise for Toho being let go that easily.
Anyway, in answer to the original question, I chose Gamera, because he's "friend to all children." Plus, the first kaiju film I ever saw was a Gamera film, not Godzilla, surprisingly enough.
Nah! All those monsters are just carnage machines. My favourite is Guu, from Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi Guu.
