Well, if you have Microsoft Office, it should come with a tool called "Microsoft Office Document Imaging".. You can scan your document and use the built-in OCR to recognise the text in your document..

Well I personally use Abbeyy Fine Reader. It can read scanned documents, PDF and save them into Word files. Makes spelling mistakes but nothing is perfecr is it?
