Okay, I'm using a marquee to float 4 image links across the top of the screen.

Code:
<marquee behavior="slide" direction="left" truespeed>

It goes way too slow. I can't edit the speed of the marquee at all.

I've found at least 5 different scripts to do that on Dynamicdrive and Javascriptkit, but none of them can actually produce the "slide" effect, so they don't stop at the edge of the screen. I'm learning javascript and becoming very good at it with the help of this book I have, but sadly, I cannot even begin to do the scroll effect Sad.

I am having no problems with the rollovers at all, but it is just too complex for me to figure out. HELP!!!!!!!!!

I hope to have this by tommorrow, but it's looking grim. Thanks to anyone that can help!!

You want to set a value called "scrollamount"

Code:
<marquee behavior="slide" direction="left" scrollamount="16" truespeed>

You might need to remove the truespeed thing as well, I'm not sure what it does. The higher the scrollamount value the faster it slides.

The scrollamount attribute affects how long the delay is between passes, and I think truspeed keeps it at a constant speed, they sometimes go faster/slower on their own.

I've tried scrollamount, that's all it does. It says so in my HTML book, too.

Hmm, that's odd. I'm sure that's how I used it back in the day....

Had a quick look here;

I think the truespeed thing must be interefering.

I do believe you may be right, perhaps I ought to give it another shot.

It seems logical, maybe the truespeed did mess it up...I'll see.
