whplace Mine used to be MSN for the longest time, and then it was google for a couple months, then I found frihost hehe. I used msn for hotmail and still do but msn's search engine is not as popular/as good as google.
Hey whplace, you know you can put your "whplace" in your sig instead of at the end of all your messages. Just givin ya a suggestion in case the mods think your trying to get more points or FRIH$ etc and give you a warning
Sadly, Mine still the default MSN page, But I plan to replace it with my FriHost Page when I finish building it.
As I use Opera, which has the option to remember which tabs you had open (and even cashes them so you can use the back button on them ), I don't have a startup page.
Though when I was still in my IE-FF period, it was usually google.com/ig which is a page you can customize to have newsmessages or whatever you like. My homepage is http:/superflyfilms.googlepages.com

hehe, when Bon Echo has reached its final version, it will be Firefox's Google homepage i guess. I have firefox google as my homepage. I used to have the random page at wikipedia as my homepage so that I will see a random wikipedia article whenever I get on.

I switch home pages over time, right now it's MSN's home page at http://www.msn.com/.
When I first got my Internet connection with ATTBI (AT&T Broadband Internet), I had their homepage at http://www.attbi.com/.
Then when ATTBI became Comcast, I moved to their page at http://www.comcast.net/.
When I moved houses, I moved homepages too. We had SBC Yahoo! DSL set up and my homepage moved to http://www.msn.com/.
Oddly enough, SBC Yahoo! DSL is now AT&T Yahoo! DSL.

If anyone wants to know how to get multiple homepages with firefox it's too easy.
Tools/Options/General
Then in the line where you add the url for your home page add | after and add another url. DO NOT PUT ANY SPACES BETWEEN. Here's an example:

Frihost as your homepage. I just have it as a quick link in firefox. (Right under the address bar) Why not just have the homepage go to the forums instead of the homepage? My homepage is google.com

It's even easier in Opera, just open all the pages you want to set, and then go File --> Sessions --> Save this Session. Then, you can open that session when you start Opera | jayandsilo wrote: |

I have 5 different ones with IE 7:
I'm a simple man (insert joke here) with simple tastes. I have myYahoo as my startup page, mainly because my main email acct. is with them and I can get some basic news and sports scores with one brief look around. A matter of convenience I suppose.

My browser, Firefox has SessionSaver though, so it will open back the tabs I did not close in the previous session whenever I open Firefox.. Its just so nice being able to open up firefox, check my email, check the very latest news (and click through to the rest), have the weather forecast, and have Google's search engine right there. The search bar next to the address bar just isn't as nice as the actual Google site. I also like it because it is plain white except for what is necessary. Makes it beautiful in comparison to other sites. Mine is google but i bet many people have google as their homepage. Google is helpful because you can do all of your searching and everything when you open your browser. I also used to have my own page on my computer that when it loaded up it had links to all of the places i visited the most on it.

And about yahoo and google, I woud agree with google being better because its less cluttered and yahoo is crammed with crap i dont need.Yes i agree like things like games and stuff. Google is just nice and clean. I like haveing two pages pop up. It is quite interesting.

For the record I am a Systems Analyst for AT&T (US, Fairhaven, Ma.).I dont have any home page set because I dont want it the loaded unnecessoraly, Earlier i used to use Google as home page, by as i use FireFox. Opera now it is not necesory for me to use any Home page

and when i got my laptop, it was weird not seeing the msn page, even though i never use it - so i readded it. in office, it's the Hong Kong Government official site.

However, after a horrid event that occurred with a hijacking experience on Internet Explorer, I just use the blank page option. I'm tempted to use the mass-tabs homepage option on FireFox, but that'd just make me open more tabs than I already do.
I set my homepage in deviantart.com since God knows how much i loiter around the site like a fly.

Because you don't have to wait for long loading times and other CPU-using things. about:blank always works, is never offline I dont use a single page as my home page. Instead i use Opera's session manager to open up my gmail page and a couple of forums.
Mine has been www.google.co.uk for a couple of years i think. Might change it actually it's not exactly an exciting page.
