Computers in general are mainly male dominated, I know that the ratio of male to female in my comp sci classes is about 17-1. But thanks to some nice recruiting by my friends and me, next year the ratio will be much better (can't wait

Males are dominant in the computer field, yes. Though there are many girls in the web design field that I know of. In a technical school nearby, the web design shop is almost all female so it depends...

This discussion has been and gone ... several times over.
Infact, the first and most active thread about this has been pruned long time ago.
But there are still a few locked duplicates lying around.
What's the use of having a survey, when the results are not recorded ?
Trust me, I hate locking this one just as much as I hated locking the others before.
