Problem With Folders Owned By Apache

smokey4life
Ok i have read the post for the fix for files and folders owned by apache however it did not work for me. It wont even allow me to chmod the files and folders. I have a game running on my site that tries to create a file in the "maps" directory but it wont allow it says its not writeable. Could you guys manually change that directory to not be owned by apache or is there another fix for this? the directory is /domains/runesource.frih.net/public_html/games/maps

I added you to a cron job that will daily chown all your files back to you.

Ok thats awsome!! Ill check it out and watch it and make sure it works. Hopefully this will work for all folders and files under the maps directory as well seeing as i just now checked it out and the folders under the maps directory were still owned by Apache and not allowing me to delete or write to the folder.
