I really reccomend you to change to IPB forum software, it is far cleaner, and the smilies... are actual faces instead of rat shaped... things... :/

I must say that costs a certain amount, not that Frihost cant afford it, but there..
Anyway, IPB though useful, is quite a complicated board.. When we are managing very well indeed with phpbb why go for IPB.
there are a number of mods for phpbb unlike IPB.. Though IPB may be better I dont think a change is needed unless there are complaints from many users about the board, which I dont think is going to happen soon.
Also, phpbb is quite stable...

php is nicer I think. IBP seems like it doesn't have as much as php. php allows the junior admin and the account page. These things make it a lot nicer.
Yes PHP is cooler, but not php 5.
Sorry, but we don't plan to change board systems in het near future.
Yes, we know Invision Power Board is better, but we don't see a need for it at the moment. phpBB can do what we need, we have modified our phpBB forum heavily.
Until we need it, we won't use it.

so no need change it i think because...Cash System is really good and the other systems couldn't catch it...I love Frihost it doesn't matter what's it's board system...

But its good we get a lil disscussion on these stuff once in a while.

Well yes IPB is much better but it has no extras that Frihost needs so it would be rather poinless changing (apart from keeeping some users happy). It would quite simply be far to much work as there would be a lot that would need to be changed as has been done here. There's also the lisence part which costs money, the really big no no!
