Has anyone used any desktop ATX media center PC cases? I'm looking at building a media center pc, but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I appreciate any help.
Media Center
Full ATX or mATX? mATX generally has many more options, most of which look better than the ATX options. Also, what is your price range?
I was originally looking at ATX, but if I can find an mATX motherboard and processor similar in price to the Athlon 64 3000+, ASUS mb, and 1 GB of RAM (300 shipped) then i might go for it. I'm looking to spend around 100 to 125 on case
If u want a solid Media TV, forget Windows and get MythTV a free linux program. Only limitations are the types of tv tuner cards because linux doesn't support many.
They are tons of Wiki documentation and the actual program is <10MB plus a linux OS leaves more room 4 your data.
With web cababilities, time-shifting, EPG, and more. It is your one stop shop for DIY PVR.
Hope it helped
