Why do you not update teh forum to the new version of phpBB?

I believe that FriHost's forum system is always up-to-date with the latest security patches.
If Bondings haven't update today, he'll do that tomorrow.

Currently the FriHost forums are the most up-to-date version that phpBB have released that is stable. phpBB 3 is currently in BETA, meaning that it is not stable. When it is stable the forums maybe updated to phpBB 3.
Bondings, will they be updated ? I know that it may cause problems due to MOD's. Is it possible ?
(note that the features that phpBB 3 offers are easily applyable to phpBB 2)
