Age Of Empires 3,so so.... popular game,is this right?

What's your strategy?
My favourite is the strelet hoard backed with artilery.
Simply aim your artilery at the enemy and place your strelets right in front of the artilery. The cannons protect the infantry and vice-versa.
When enemy cannons appear, you just spread your infantry out and rush it.
I personally think Age Of Empires III is a little to short.
My fav strategy: Train a troop of 50 soldiers or archers or musketeers and then destroy everything there is to destroy on the map.
