I just list bands which are good and are from Finland.

These bands sing finnish but their music is very good.

Finnish Rock band. They have tryed also sing in english but it isn't work very good so they sing nowdays only finnish. They have some very good songs. "Anna mulle piiskaa"->" heard little than some Nirvana's song.

Finnish rock band. They are very good make songs and have also good lyrics (which are full of insights). One good song is example "Homo Sapiens" but they have also other good songs.

Ismo Alanko

Hard to say what genre he use but is very popular in Finland. Maybe more "pop"-style. Make very different music than other artists and is one of finnish music "icons". Try songs: "värityskirja", "pornografiaa".

While Children of Bodom are from Finland, (as are HIM... no comment), they don't sing in Finnish.

Alexi from CoB has a punk band that he sings in Finnish in. I don't know the name of it though.

Since I'm finnish, that is.

Finland is full of great music, although I don't really enjoy anything which is sung in finnish. Most lyrics just sound stupid if you know what the're about. I used to listen to Apulanta when I was younger. Their older stuff are still pretty good in my opinion, but their latest stuff is plain horrible. Children of Bodom is a band you gotta check out, whether you like metal or not, they're just that great. And by the way Alexi's punk band is called Kylähullut ('village idiots' in english Very Happy
