Google video .gvp format file vs. .avi

Tony The Tiger
I have been having trouble with my filehosting services. I am in need of feedback from the viewing public. What format do you think I should provide my video files in. It seems I can attempt to find a file hosting service or allow Google Video to compress my videos and make them available. The problem is that most people will just view the video online in its maximized version. I am interested in you perception of my options.

Here is Google's .gvp file: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-939743819300910893&pr=goog-sl

In order to view it offline you need to download the video player at http://video.google.com/playerdownload.html

Alternatively, I could use a file host to provide the following types of files:

VGA format: http://www.bigupload.com/download_frame.php?id_file=1BD5BCFC

QVGA format: http://www.bigupload.com/download_frame.php?id_file=51E2038E
