Today's cricket match between India and England was another shot in the arm for India. Indai seems to be getting away inspite of not performing well. In the last game in Delhi, more tham India having won the match, I though it was England who lost the match. Nothing was different today. Luck seems to be favouring India. I think the next match will be more interesting as England will be geared up to avoid a third loss.
But sadly what made to the news was the police lathicharge outside the stadium. lots of people got hurt when police went on a rampage on an unruly mob. I wonder when we will have better crowd control mechanisms in place.

Yes, it is sad about the police and the mob - I thought that was more restricted to soccer. Anyway, yes there are a lot of cricket lovers here but the threads are not that active and they are buried way down low. You just have to search a bit. hey i play cricket quite a lot, i've played for my high school and at county level.
I think that this year our England team isn't as good as it was at the ashes for some reason. Maybe the ashes fuelled them. but i do find them not to be as good. Maybe we could be looking at the same scenario as wen england won the rugby world cup. We win something so al thegood players retire.

India win the series, i doono if it is luck or pure talent that is with Indian cricket team but at the moment i really dont care, all i want is my country winning, and this win is their 15th straight win chasing, to think that Indian team is not good in chasing was said just a couple of years ago...what a turn around for Team India, and to think that there have been given chances to lot of young players to show there talent is also something to be admired off...GO INDIA GO!!!
